“To have pain in your body is
to have pain in your body, but all the psychological stuff that rides
along with the pain in your body like, “I deserve it,” “I’m not good
enough,” “I’m failing, dah dah dah,” “I didn’t eat right”, “I didn’t do
the right thing,” That stuff is what’s doing you in. That stuff will do
you in.”
- Ram Dass -
And every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, “This is
important! And this is important! And this is important! You need to
worry about this! And this! And this!”
And each day, it’s up to you to
yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, “No. This is what’s
important."
- Iain S. Thomas, I Wrote This for You -
