Naadloos.'

See if you can catch yourself complaining,
in
either speech or thought,
about a situation you find yourself in,
what
other people do or say,
your surroundings,
your life situation,
even the
weather.
To complain is always nonacceptance of what is.
It invariably
carries an unconscious negative charge.
When you complain, you make
yourself a victim.
Leave the situation or accept it.
All else is
madness.

There is a very simple secret to being happy.
Just let go
of your ‘demand’ on this moment.
Anytime you have a demand on the moment
to give you something or remove something,
there is suffering.
You’re
arguing with 'What Is’.
Your demands keep you chained
to the
'dream-state’ of the conditioned mind.
The desire to 'control’… is,
ultimately,
our unwillingness to just be awake.

If you feel sad for no reason,
embrace the reasonless spontaneity of your sadness!
In the first light of morning,
when you hear a bird singing her spontanous song,
you’re not pushing for reasons.
Sadness does not arise to be healed.
It arises to be heard.
It arises to be held,
here, in the loving arms of awareness.

The art of living is based on rhythm -
on give and take,
ebb and flow,
ight and dark,
life and death.
By acceptance of all aspects of life,
good and bad,
right and wrong,
yours and mine,
the static, defensive
life,
which is what most people are cursed with,
is converted into a
dance,
‘the dance of life,’
metamorphosis.
One can dance to sorrow or to
joy;
one can even dance abstractly.
But the point is that,
by the mere
act of dancing,
the elements which compose it are transformed;
the dance
is an end in itself,
just like life.
The acceptance of the situation,
any situation,
brings about a flow,
a rhythmic impulse towards
self-expression.
To relax is, of course,
the first thing a dancer has to
learn.
It is also the first thing a patient has to learn
when he
confronts the analyst.
It is the first thing any one has to learn
in
order to live.
It is extremely difficult,
because it means surrender,
full surrender.
