Fear
begins and ends with the desire to be secure; inward and outward
security, with the desire to be certain, to have permanency.
The continuity of permanence is sought in every direction, in virtue, in relationship, in action, in experience, in knowledge, in outward and inward things.
To find security and be secure is the everlasting cry.
It is this insistent demand that breeds fear.
Is there security? Is there permanency which man is seeking all the time?
As you notice for yourself, your body changes, the cells of the body change so often.
As you see for yourself in your relationship with your wife, with your children, with your neighbor, with your state, with your community, is there anything permanent?
You would like to make it permanent.
The relationship with your wife—you call it marriage, and legally hold it tightly.
But is there permanency in that relationship?
Because if you have invested permanency in your wife or husband, when she turns away, or looks at another, or dies, or some illness takes place, you are completely lost….
The actual state of every human being is uncertainty.
Those who realize the actual state of uncertainty either see the fact and live with it there or they go off, become neurotic, because they cannot face that uncertainty.”

~Krishnamurti
“As we practice moving into the present moment this way, we become more familiar with groundlessness, a fresh state of being that is available to us on an ongoing basis.
This moving away from comfort and security, this stepping out into what is unknown, uncharted, and shaky—that’s called liberation.
Sticking with uncertainty is how we learn to relax in the midst of chaos, how we learn to be cool when the ground beneath us suddenly disappears.
We can bring ourselves back to the spiritual path countless times every day simply by exercising our willingness to rest in the uncertainty of the present moment—over and over again.”
~Pema Chodron

Wapenstilstand.
Laat ons vandaag ook eens stilstaan bij de harde woorden die menig hart en ziel als kogels doorboren. Online of verbaal. Je mag een mening hebben, je hoeft niet alles leuk te vinden, maar laten mensen in hun waardigheid. Denk na, scroll door, klik/stap weg. Toon respect en wees lief voor elkaar!
